Pros: This is the first new pc I’ve built in many years- I went with the new Intel 12600k (lga 1700) and decided on this motherboard due to the least amount of issues others were having with certain other boards. The value vs features is great, it is a high-quality and heavy board that is also one of the better looking boards in my opinion, the matte black metal heatsinks are a nice touch. Also, very happy that MSI included a usb with updated drivers to streamline the process. The WiFi is…

Pros: – Work right out of the box with shipped BIOS, post with no issues – Included 6 SATA ports and 4 M.2 Ports with heat sinks – Adequate amount of USB ports, more be better, but good enough for now. – 3 extra PCIe ports, USB C 3.2, Bluetooth, wifi, all the basic stuffs – Included USB key with drivers (can also be used for BIOS upgrade) – Good pricing and good value, and the rebate program – CPU cooler fit perfectly onboard (unlike those newest Asus boards) – Support DDR4 Cons: – RAM can…

Pros: -Solid performing board -Love the asthetics, especially for my theme build -Overkill VRM’S -Nice BIOS -No Ram compatibility issues -Troubleshooting LEDs Cons: -Wouldn’t have minded a few more A-RGB headers -Would have liked to see SOME RGB on the board, not a deal breaker since it looks so nice without it but in some areas on the board it would have popped nicely -I would’ve liked to have seen the SATA cables with the metal clips on them -Overpriced -Would like to see post codes rather…

  4. Darryl M.

Pros: – Strong feature set for the price – Lots of heatsinks for everything on the board including M.2 slots – Try it! Memory timings in UEFI – Fan speed profiles are easy to enable a tweak – Supports the 2×16 Trident Z Neo DRR4 RAM with XMP profile for 4000MHz – Included USB thumb drive with drivers Cons: – Not a great fit for the Lian Li 011 Air Mini. A micro ATX would be a better choice for that case. – No 7 segment boot status display. Though it has some LEDs for troubleshooting, but…

Pros: Good power supplies; Enough fan power slots; Good looking. Cons: The first PCIE 4.0 slot is difficult to insert a graphics card into it. It doesnt like other slots, its always a bit a weird. Overall Review: What I have to say is that the price is a little bit awkward, because of budget buyers they have B650 series to choose; and for electronic fans they have MAG Z690 to choose. So this is a choice between budget and high-performance. If you want to keep your DDR4 RAM but you dont want…

  6. Jeremy W.

Pros: – Feature-rich, well-built board (heatsinks, VRM, etc.) – Plenty of M.2 and SATA ports for expansion – Easy to use overclocking utility in UEFI Cons: – Like most Z690 boards, the price seems inflated at present, especially for a board that doesn’t support DDR5 (roughly 75 dollars less than the DDR5 version). However, I believe MSI has made this a competitive product – Updating the BIOS via USB didn’t work using the flash button on the rear panel, but was easy enough to use the BIOS…

Pros: Loaded with features including 4 M.2 slots High quality product with excellent 16-1-1 Voltage Regulation Power design Good thermal control on board components and M.2 heat sinks WIFI 6 works well Reasonably priced Cons: I’m used to dual LAN plugs so this MB could have a second Somewhat touchy with high speed memory Overall Review: I’ve purchased a number of these boards and have not had a problem with any of them. Every motherboard component I used worked first time out of the box with…

Pros: Appearance Non-RGB Has USB-C Many USB slots Built in WiFi Has heatsync Camo decals Cons: Pricing- If you are just getting into 12th gen, there arn’t too many solutions offered right now MSI center software occasionally works Overall Review: Overall, I think this is a great MOBO, especially for MSI fans. Looks aggressive, eazy Bios capabilities..*THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE MSI REWARDS PROGRAM**
