Pros: I chose this processor for a family members work Pc. I wanted something quad core and fast in case i ever had to work on it. It also couldn’t be too expensive. Needless to say this thing is FAST. I cant explain to you how happy i am with this processor. Don’t overlook this processor it can handle anything you’ll throw it ! Cons: Absolutely NONE

Pros: I purchased this CPU for a new build. This new computer is replacing my previous one, with a Pentium 4 3.4GHz from about 10 years ago. I haven’t run many programs that stress the CPU very much. I installed Portal 2, Half Life 2, and I am just finishing up Starcraft 2. System Specs: Intel i5 4590 with stock cooler MSI|Z87-G41 Motherboard 16 Gigs Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR3 1600 Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive Samsung 840 Pro SSD 128 Gig Generic mid tower case with 3 120mm fans The CPU…

Pros: Decided to make the switch from AMD after years of extreme cpu budget making. Got chip on a deal from newegg. Runs cool. Have a Nepton 120xl with only 1 fan mounted. Idles at 25C and maxes at 44C on prime95 for 12 hours. Cons: None. Overall Review: Have not tried the integrated graphics but its a plus that its there.

Pros: Great single threaded performance and adequate multi threaded performance. Easily the best value in the Intel gaming CPU market when I picked up on sale last week. Keeps cool while playing FFXIV and Second Life, which are both maxed at 1080p and just barely playable, but pretty. The CPU is hovering around 62-65 Celsius under gaming conditions. Haven’t had a chance to run anything through it using meGUI for video encoding, or dbpoweramp for music transcoding, but I’d assume from all the…

Pros: Great speed, fast load times and easy to install. Cons: None Overall Review: It’s a great cpu for the non overclocker runs between 3.5Ghz – 3.7 on all cores during heaving usage.

Pros: Very fast processor, great single core and really good multi-thread performance. Runs surprisingly cool. Was part of a bundle so price was also very good. Cons: No real cons noted. This is not the “k” variant so is not really targeted for overclocking enthusiasts–so watch your part number if that’s what you are wanting. Overall Review: Although install was easy and painless, use caution when installing and read your motherboard’s directions before installing.

Pros: A true 4 core processor. On board video graphics just in case your GPU fails. 3.3ghz with a 3.7ghz boost Way better than a Core 2 Duo Decent price for what you get. Not a power hungry CPU Cons: None, even the little cooler keeps the temps down 34c idle 61c load 90% fan speed. Not super audible either. Overall Review: This is not a K series cpu but so far it has performed very well in Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier editing. Compared to a Core 2 Duo this shaved hours down to minutes…

Pros: Great CPU! Cons: One of the screws from the CPU fan got “stuck” when doing a test fit, then wouldn’t go back into the motherboard. Had to improvise and break a plastic tab from the screw off to get it to fit right. Probably just a minor defect that 99% of the time never happens. Better luck to me next time!
