Pros: Newegg return policy Cons: Product was dead on arrival. Customer support from TP-Link. Overall Review: I called customer support, they continued to tell me that I hooked it up right. I had a voltage detector to ensure I used the right wires. I was just swapping out an existing smart switch for the dimmer, so I know I had the right wires. They told me I needed to have an electrician confirm it was dead if I wanted it replaced. I have 18 smart switches installed, I know what I am doing. The rep on the phone insisted that she wanted to replace it but that her supervisor would not let her. When asked to speak to the supervisor she said he would tell me the same thing and that he was too busy. Shipped back to Newegg.

Pros: – 1 of the 2 I bought works well Cons: – The 2nd one I purchased was a dud – TP Link has _the worst_ customer service I have ever experienced Overall Review: I have nearly a dozen TP Link smart home devices, from smart plugs to switches to cameras. I like them, they generally work well. But after my experience with their customer service department, I’ll be searching for another brand. I purchased 2 dimmer switches from Newegg and had 1 installed by a professional electrician. It was defective – the lights wouldn’t turn off via the app or the physical buttons on the switch. Stuck on. Electrician swapped it out with the 2nd one which worked immediately. I contacted the manufacturer by phone, they acknowledged the defective unit and opened a case. Since then I have literally exchanged 20 emails with them, only to get nowhere. It went from “create an account on the warranty portal” to “your email address is invalid, create another account on the warranty portal” to “oops, we deleted your account by accident” to “okay we fixed that, now request a return” to “oh, by the way, now that you’re finally ready to return the device, we’re going to charge you shipping”. It is _shocking_ to me that such a simple return process could be made so complicated and frustrating. TP Link, you sent me a defective device. Make it right. And treat your customers better. Because you just lost a good one.

Pros: If you understand on how to install a regular switch.. then this will as easy. other wise have a certify electrician/IT install it for you. Cons: No Cons.. so far,. Product works as expected. Overall Review: I will be great if the application will allow to set groups of items into one and turn all at once and still have the option to do one at the time.

Overall Review: This light dimmer switch works perfectly with my LED B20 bulbs and I’m really regretting not purchasing more of these switches when they were discounted to twenty bucks not too long ago. I’m keeping my eyes out for a sale again! One of the things I was concerned about with the switch were some reports people had about tight spacing within the switch box. After replacing several light switches with non-smart manual dimmers in the distant past and really having to jam everything back in, I was concerned it would be REALLY a problem with the switch. I’m glad to say I did NOT run into that problem with this switch.

Pros: + easy to install + works perfectly + no more telling the kids to shut the light off Cons: – doesn’t dim LEDs quite as low as I would like – white is the only option Overall Review: I’ve been very happy with all of my Kasa purchases and this one is no different. It was very easy to install and the instructions were perfect. Everything works as expected. I’ve been replacing my switches that the kids always leave on with smart switches. This makes turning them off and on so much easier. I know it sounds silly but it’s really nice especially when you set up schedules. When the lights go off it’s bedtime and the kids know that without having to tell them a million times.
