Pros: I did my research on Powerline adapters and this one was reviewed as one of the best. I was concerned about having to have the adapter on the same fuse/circuit. I did not. It worked flawlessly over multiple breakers. Easy to install. Much faster than wireless and resolved the endless loading time while streaming. Cons: none

Pros: Its a great idea to buy these only if you have a brand new house Cons: I verified that my electrical distribution panel was compatible and it was… When i plugged them in the same room i didn’t lost speed(about 66mbps on speedtest.net ) but when i plugged One adapter downstairs ans One upstairs my integrated wifi card was faster than this (25mbps on netgear adapter and 40mbps on wifi). Netgear make great product but for 110$ i was expecting more

Pros: It works when it does Cons: Every day my connections goes from working to a yellow triangle with the exclamation point it happens 3 to 5 times each day… I have changed the ethernet cables each time and still the same issue arises. Overall Review: Since I can’t get a stable wi-fi connection to the room I need it in, figured to have try this product, but unfortunately it has its hiccups, yet it does work better than trying to get wireless connection to be stable or work.

Pros: Able to run a network over electric outlets Cons: connection speed isn’t the greatest in my case but it is better than nothing – speed changes and drops down to < 5Mbps in my case (read other info to understand why) Overall Review: i am using this as a connection to get internet to my barn. I know sounds odd, but I wanted to have the ability to get internet for streaming music or searching internet when working on cars etc. seems to work okay for this use. My electric to the to the barn is really not good and i plan to replace electric line so I am not blaming the product for the connection rates. i was able to plug in an additional wireless router into this and have wireless in the barn. This is working going through 2 electric boxes also.

Pros: The installation was very easy. Takes the same amount of time as if you were plugging in two lamps into a wall socket as an example. Then take one LAN cable and connect it from your wireless router/access point into the first powerline adapter you just plugged in, then run to the other room where you plugged in the other powerline adapter and connect the second LAN cable between your laptop/desktop and the powerline adapter. Make sure your laptop/desktop LAN wired adapter connection is enabled and you will be up and running almost instantaneously. I was skeptical about the powerline adapter’s ability to deliver a good clean signal through the home’s electrical wiring, but here are the results using speedtest: BEFORE: 6.6 MBPs Down/3.4 Up — AFTER: 31 MBPs Down/4.2 Up. That is five times faster on the download side. Cons: None Overall Review: I’d definitely buy this again and recommend it to my friends. I’ll be talking about it at the office.

Pros: Full speed! No wifi! Passthrough so you can still use one outlet! Cons: It is big enough that it blocks the top outlet if you plug it into the bottom outlet. Not the biggest issue since you CAN plug a powerstrip into it (wouldn’t try it other way around, though). Overall Review: I was concerned since I live in an apartment that the wiring was different and that it wouldn’t work properly. But it works fine. I’ll pull 65mbps + down which is just like being plugged into the router. I am very happy with this purchase!!

Pros: Plug and Plug (if working) Cons: Resetting each individual plug is time consuming. Overall Review: These never really worked and when they did the speeds were worse than my wireless connection. Waste of money I dont even use the devices!!!
