Pros: – Monitor feels sturdy – Has lots of picture adjust features – Has deep blacks due to high contrast ratio – good value for 1440p 165hz gaming Cons: – Black smearing is noticeable, as with any VA panel Overall Review: Overall I am quite happy with this monitor. I read tons of reviews when trying to decide on a 1440p 165hz monitor with a VA panel and I am happy with my decision.

Pros: Picture Quality Is Great! Hardly Any Ghosting! Easy To Find The Settings Perfect For You! Cons: Microsoft doesnt support 1440p HDR but honestly it doesnt matter it would only improve the picture by the slightest. Screen flickers at the Menus of any game but just the Menus in game is crystal clear! Overall Review: I highly recommend this monitor for a budget 1440p 165hz for console, though it would probably be better for PC cause of the HDR Problem on console still overall solid 8.5-10 its a massive jump if you were rocking a 1080p 60hz!

Pros: Great response time, high refresh rate, and great value. and a lot of customizable settings. Easy wall mounting Cons: Dull colors. Doesn’t match a similar Gigabyte monitor in side by side comparison. (I have another Gigabyte G27Q 2K monitor sitting right beside and it looks noticeably better) Flickering Overall Review: I am unhappy with how this monitor looks. Initially, it was just an issue with the colors and hues not matching my identical monitor that sat right beside it on the same setting, but I was able to adjust the settings and make them look good together. Although it’s annoying, it worked. Then, the flickering on this monitor started to occur and I will be sending it back for a replacement assuming it’s a manufacturing error. I know this will take 5x as long as it took to receive it in the first place so I’m unhappy, especially since I already sold the monitor that this one was replacing.

Pros: – The refresh rate and response time of this monitor are amazing. – The mount provides smooth vertical motion for height and the monitor can be adjusted from there. – Diverse settings menu that allows you near complete control of the monitor. – Setup guide can be found online and all ports are clearly labeled. – Curvature is not too much, but not too little. I would absolutely recommend this product to someone who isn’t quite sure if a curved monitor is for them. This is a great place to start. Cons: – The colors on this monitor are nice, but not nearly perfect. Colors can be dull and inaccurate. They can be adjusted in the handy settings menu. Definitely would not recommend this product to someone who uses applications such as photoshop, lightroom, etc. – The in-monitor speakers are not very good. Chances are, you’re not buying a monitor for its speakers, but its definitely good to note. – Stand is sturdy, but bulky. It’s nice to have the monitor without worrying about it shaking or falling, however the stand takes up much more desk space than desired. – Power / Control button can take some getting used to. It gets the job done, but it is very finnicky and you’ll more often than not find yourself closing out of menus or going to the wrong option. – I’ve noticed a LOT of backlight shining through, especially on the edges of the screen. This is not always noticeable unless you’re either searching for it or you’re playing a darker game. Overall Review: I find that when reading reviews I tend to take people’s word for it a lot more than I should. I find it important to note that what I am seeing with my product, specifically in the cons section, could JUST be the specific unit I received. Take caution, but don’t let one review be the end all be all for your decision. This is a fantastic monitor for its price point. While it does have its flaws, those flaws are to be expected given all the features Gigabyte is packing in at this specific price level. Getting a monitor is a gamble, especially with what you’re paying for it. I did a lot of research before making my purchase, but I still believe it was the right one.
