Pros: – Great price for what you get – Product is very easy to set up (as long as you have a facebook account?) – Works as both a stand-alone headset and as a PC VR headset, allowing you to play those AAA title VR games in your Steam Library on the headset. Or even just as a massive monitor via the Virtual Desktop application ($) or even Netflix. Cons: – The velcro straps are a little wonky, I find myself needing to adjust them frequently as the headset keeps sliding down my head and the screen goes out of focus. I would recommend getting the elite head-strap, or some other aftermarket equivalent. – I already had a facebook account, so it was no issue for myself. I’ve heard other people complaining about that aspect. Overall Review: – Would recommend as a great entry level system.

Pros: Honestly, just Google it. They are great units, I’m not qualified to give a thorough review. Shipping was fast and easy. Cons: Would have liked to order the one with larger storage but it was hard to find anything, not really a con I guess. Overall Review: Love it! Get one!

Pros: Opened an entire new world of tech immersion VR games are the future, no question The list of pros is really quite long but its just one of those things you cant really get it until you try it. So try it The 64GB version is more than enough, especially if you’re using this with a gaming PC. Don’t spend the extra 100 on the 256 variant unless you’re only playing this as a stand alone. Cons: Just know up front you’ll be investing in accessories (long cable for PC link, upgraded head strap and face cushion). The stock items above are ok, but a huge improvement upgrading them. Battery life is decent, but using solely as a stand alone you’ll drain it quick. The time flies by when your in VR. In addition to putting extra money aside for accessories you’ll also be investing in some VR titles. Not really a con, but be prepared for some discomfort at first and when you try fluid movement in games. Ive been playing Half Life and Skyrim using the “teleport” movement method. I tried switching to fluid movement with the controller stick and instantly felt like I was gonna yak. Take breaks and be kind to your body. Overall Review: As a stand alone, its great. However, hooking this into a gaming PC is a night and day difference. If you’re already equipped with a gaming rig then you’re going to ruin flat panel gaming for yourself…just be warned. Experiencing Skyrim in VR has made playing it on a monitor seem…. well flat Take the time to get it set up to your eyes. It can be tricky with different adjustments to get it just right but do yourself the favor and dedicate time to make it as perfect as you can. I’m 32 years old, my first gaming experience was playing Wolfenstein 3D and Commander Keen off floppy disks on an old Macintosh. I remember the times going up to better graphics and newer systems and being amazed at the progress. I can say without any question the WOW experienced from going into VR is by far the greatest leap Ive taken. If you are deciding weather or not to get into VR, DO IT DO IT DO IT.

Pros: Price – flexibility – tactile control – nice customizing – no cords Cons: Only the strap so far – a little weighty in the front – the add-on was well worth it Overall Review: Long time follower of VR – never ready to pull the trigger because of cost, support, and too early in development for me. but this is a game changer. No tethering – excellent portability- unique content – open platforming (with sidequest) and pc link for non-OQ2 content – and a killer price point make it a total winner, I get the FB pushback, but that aside, (make a dummy FB account if that bothers you) the technology is pretty incredible. The interaction is excellent. The visuals with newer apps is awesome. I added a 3rd party $15 head support and can go hours without fatigue. Jump in.

Pros: Super simple installation Cons: Requires Facebook account Built-in microphone struggles when linked to a PC via AirLink Overall Review: I have not felt the giddy feeling of joy playing video games like with this headset since being a kid. Simple tasks and actions become fun in an instant

Pros: Very easy to set up. Very accessible. Lots of versatility in the types of programs/games you can play on the Oculus. Had no problem playing VR games from the Oculus library as well as from my Steam library. Cons: For more beefy programs like flight simulators, you’re going to need a good fiber optic USB-C 3.0 cable which can get pretty pricy depending on the size. You’re also going to be tethered to your computer which makes playing something like Blade & Sorcery much less immersive. Overall Review: Overall, I’m very please with the purchase.
