Pros: Smooth keyboard and for me very comfortable to use comes with some extra keys. Which is nice, has some loud sounds which I guess can be seen as pro or con. Overall so far been a nice upgrade Cons: Need software downloaded to get a firmware update and program RGB. When I first installed it it would randomly disconnect I was able to find a program from evga that updated the firmware and allows to program the RGB which is nice but didnt see mention on the keyboard quick install and took some finding on the website for EVGA Overall Review: Nice enjoying it so far

Pros: – Hotswap sockets. Defiintely a plus for me. – Nice RGB that can be somewhat controlled without any silly software. – Media keys are a nice addition. – Included switches are quite nice. I got the Speed Silver ones and they are very quiet. – Standard bottom row layout. Cons: – No pass through hub. – ABS keycaps with cruddy “Gamer” font. – Included keycap and switch pullers are tiny and cheap. – The extra switches are not even the right kind as far as the Speed Silver variant goes. Overall Review: My daily driver is a Ducky One 2 Rosa with MX Blue switches and I got this keyboard as a spare. I was attracted to the hotswap sockets in particular. So far it is quite a nice keyboard to type on, especially for the 50$ price I paid. However for the 130$ MSRP, it needs to improve many things before becoming highly recommended. First however I want to praise it for what it does well in my opinion. I am pleased to see a standard bottom row layout which is something Corsair has not been doing and it made finding replacement keycaps for their keyboards a complete pain in the rear. The RGB also does not require the software to get some of the effects to work. Holding down the FN key will show you all of the options you can do with the keyboard. I don’t really use macros so I cannot vouch on those. The Kailh speed silver switches are a dream to type on. They are not as scratchy as my Cherry MX blue switches found in my One 2 and the fact that I can swap them out for a different kind of MX switch on the fly is amazing. I’ve tried some Speed Bronze and Thick Jades and I now know I have to mod my One 2 with the jades. That’s issue, it hasn’t made me want to switch away from my One 2. I’d rather mod it than permanently switch to the Z15. The main reason for this is mostly the keycaps. They are cheap ABS plastic and if they are anything like Corsair’s, they will quickly built up a shine. Heck I can already see it as I am typing this. The lack of a passthrough is also disappointing. I do think this keyboard is on the right track when it comes to providing a lot of features for the price. However I also expected higher quality keycaps as even RGB boards of this MSRP are starting to have PBT keycaps. It’s also a pain to see that the accessories are inside a vacuum sealed bag rather than a proper reusable bag. The keycap and switch pullers are just going to be in the box with zero protection after opening it. The spare switches are probably going to fly every where in the box. As a matter of fact, the spare switches are not even the same. They include Speed Bronze switches rather than Speed Silvers. Ok so if eight of my current switches need to be replaced I can have some totally different ones? That is just odd. So for a 130$, there are so many better options like a Ducky One 2 or the Razer Huntsman but it is definitely recommended for 50$. That is quite tough to beat and it has a 3 year warranty. The hot swap capability for 50$ also make significantly better value than the Glorious GMMK or cheap Royal Kludge boards with Outemu switches.

Pros: The keyboard itself is very wonderful. The clickyness of it reminds me of the old IBM model M clicky sounds. The TOF sensor is more than a mere gimmick that actually works and works well. The macro keys are another reason to look into this keyboard. I wasnt sure about optical switches until I used them and now wont be switching back. However Cons: The Unleash RGB software is pretty bad. I downloaded it and plugged in the keyboard and the software would just force quit. I couldnt get it to stay open no matter how or where I plugged it in. Reboots and cold starts didnt help at all. I got older versions of the software and nothing helped. I went online and found plenty of others saying the same thing. That the keyboard needs a firmware update, and if your windows install was pretty old it wouldnt work properly. I read somewhere that support told people to reinstall Windows and the. It should work. If true, that is completely unacceptable. One workaround that I found and I tried and it eventually worked, was to install windows in a VM, download the software, and do the firmware update on the VM, and then it should work just fine on the host machine. It worked for me, but I almost bricked the keyboard doing the update because something happened to the VM and it froze up. I lost all lights and it wouldnt register in the software. I didnt give it enough ram and only one core so that was my bad. But I got get it back and the firmware updated and everything is fine now. I had the same experience with the x17 mouse, but that will be in its own review. EVGA, If your listening, fix your software. Gamers Nexus advertises for you and your keyboards, and Im going to email Steve and Co. and share with them my own experience and links to the many other customers that are having the same problems that hes running ads for. Please just fix your broken software. Overall Review: Great keyboard, horrible software.

Pros: Pros – Keys – really love the feel of the keycaps and the actuation of the keys, from time to time the slightest press will even deliver a key press from the kailh speed silver key switches. Long cord – With the cord being 2 meters long it’s got exceptional length and thankfully it comes a velcro cable tie so you can better manage it – with the lighting options that EVGA supplies you can customize 9 different profile to make it your own, only wish that it was something that wqs saved to the keyboard so that during start-up I’d have my profiles already loaded Cons: None so far, if that changes I’ll update in the future Overall Review: I’d highly recommend this product, just update your drivers before getting too into your gaming/keyboard needs

Pros: Pros – I loved the durability and how the keys sound. Came with extra WASD, E1-E5 keys. RGB is bright and the software you can install is incredibly simple to use, so there’s tons of custimization you xcan mess around with. Keyboard itself has one USB port (Back end) AND a headphone jack on the left side. Cons: Cons – Came with two keys that had fallen off. Just put them back on but still. The keyboard needs two USB’s to plug into your PC. And the cord itself is thick. If you don’t have enough room on your desk and want a thinner cable, I would NOT choose this. If you don’t care, then this keyboard is amazing. Overall Review: Overall this is a very solid keyboard. Build quality, sound and gameplay has been great so far. Other than the cable needing two USB’s to plug into your PC and the cable being thick, I would recommend this to anyone. This is for sure the best keyboard I’ve ever used.

Overall Review: Smooth nice lights. I used a normal office keyboard before this and the difference with it is the feel of the keys help master my keyboard memorization and of course the lights 10/10 keyboard.
